Scene 1: Nathan looked up at the gray clouds. 'Where is the sunshine hiding?' Buddy woofed and wagged his tail.

Scene 2: In the backyard garden, Nathan peeked behind big leaves. 'Sunshine, are you here?' No golden light peeked back.

Scene 3: At the playground, Nathan climbed the slide. 'Maybe sunshine slid away!' Buddy chased his tail round and round.

Scene 4: By the pond, Nathan stared into the ripples. 'Did sunshine swim away?' Buddy splashed a paw in the cool water.

Scene 5: In the meadow, Nathan searched tall grasses. 'Sunshine must love flowers!' Buddy rolled happily in the soft blooms.

Scene 6: Through the woods path, Nathan called softly. 'Come out, sunshine!' Buddy sniffed every twisty root.

Scene 7: Up the rocky hill they climbed higher. 'Sunshine hides at the top!' Buddy panted with a big grin.

Scene 8: At the hilltop, no sunshine anywhere. Nathan sat down with a sigh. Buddy nuzzled his hand gently.
