Full Story
Scene 1: Ollie shows his friends his new reed boat. 'Look, it floats!' he cheers. Whoosh! A gust carries it into the current.
Scene 2: Friends paddle fast on lily pads. 'We must catch my boat!' Ollie cries. The boat zips around a bend.
Scene 3: Splat! They slide onto the muddy bank. 'Where did it go?' Toby hops, peering ahead. Mud cakes their feet.
Scene 4: They weave through twisty reeds. 'I hear splashing!' Sammy whispers. The boat peeks then hides again.
Scene 5: Under the willow, they spot sparkles. 'It's faster now!' Ollie calls. Branches snag Toby's foot.
Scene 6: Rapids tumble them bumpy-bump! 'Hold on tight!' Tilly yells. The boat spins wildly ahead.
Scene 7: On rocks, they puff and pant. 'It's heading to the bend!' Sammy spots. A big wave lifts it high.
Scene 8: They balance on the wobbly log. 'Teamwork!' Ollie cheers. The boat slips under—gone from sight!
Scene 9: In the sandy spot, they plan. 'Follow the sparkles!' Toby says. Paw prints lead to a twisty path.
Scene 10: Ferns tangle their way. Bump! Ollie bumps a hidden root. 'There—stuck on rocks!'
Scene 11: The boat teeters at the fall! 'Now!' Ollie leaps. Friends grab reeds—together they pull!
Scene 12: Yay! The reed boat is safe. They sail it together, laughing in the sun. 'Best chase ever!'
